ARENA EVENTS

Racers and spectators, get ready to rumble! Tickets for the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds Summer of Fun Arena Series Presented by Coors Light are on sale now! Tickets can be purchased only online at www.stancofair.com. Join us at the FoodMaxx Arena in July for three weekends of destruction derbies, monster trucks, drag racing, tractor pulls, a car-crushing dinosaur, and much, much more!

On July 9, the TRACTOR PULL arena will be filled with trucks, tractors, and ATVs! The Summer of Fun’s first night will feature the infamous “Black Smoke Mafia” and “West Coast Diesels” smoker tractors & trucks on full display. These pulls will feature Strictly Diesel Tractor & 4×4 Pulling, and run from 120-150 minutes. The show will begin at 7:00pm, while the doors will open at 5:30pm.

On July 10, the SUPER PULL will continue the momentum! The arena will showcase truck classes from local street stock to highly modified trucks, including the Amazing Alcohol-Injected 6200lb Pro-Modified! Two classes of fully modified tractors sanctioned through PTPA (Pacific Tractor Pullers Assoc.) will also be exhibited. The doors open at 5:30pm for the 7:00pm show.

July 11 is our Dirt Drag day! Modified trucks, local stock, and UTV/ATV classes will get down and dirty in the FoodMaxx arena for a show lasting approx. two hours. The doors open at 2:30pm for a 4pm start time.

Then on the following weekend, it’s the events we’ve been waiting for: the Destruction Derbies! Get there early on July 16 for Destruction Derby Mayhem, with action-packed, metal-crushing, wheel-spinning action featuring some of America’s finest built cars modified for a singular purpose: be the last car moving!  There are no motorhomes this year.

On July 17, our second night of clashing chaos will come to a head at Destruction Derby Annihilation, presenting courageous drivers with the collective goal of destroying their opponents’ vehicles! Only one car will stay running by the end of this showdown. For both Destruction Derby events, the doors open at 5:30pm for 7:00pm showings. There are no motorhomes this year.

Bring your kids for the Malicious Monster Truck Tour on July 23 and 24th! Spectators will be on the edge of their seats on the first night, which features Rock Star, California Kid, Identity Theft, Spitfire, and Power House! Intermission will star the legendary Megasaurus, the giant fire-breathing, car-crushing dinosaur – a family favorite all will enjoy! The show will begin at 7:00pm, while the doors will open at 5:30pm. You can also give your kids an experience of a lifetime and join in on a Monster Truck Ride! Rides will be available before and after the main events.

The Stanislaus County Fair is ready to put on a motorized extravaganza that rivals years past. “We are very excited to get back to something normal, which means putting on amazing shows for everyone. There is nothing more normal than a destruction derby on a summer evening in Stanislaus County!” said Matt Cranford, Chief Executive Officer for the Stanislaus County Fair. Don’t forget to stop by and fill up on your favorite Fair Food Bites, which will be available every weekend night during the Summer of Fun!
